The opportunity

We are currently seeking a People & Village Services Coordinator to provide administration support and work coordination assistance to the Village and Aerodrome Manager for all village and aerodrome management matters.

This role centers on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the KML village contractor’s service quality standards are met - primarily managing service provider relationships. Some support to the travel and accommodation may be required to assist with travel, flights, and accommodation management.  

This role is site-based position operating on a 5 days on, 2 days off and 4 days on and 3 days off roster.

To be successful in the role, the following is essential:

• Proven experience in hospitality, accommodation, or facility management - experience in a remote environment (beneficial)
• Very well-developed people management and communication skills
• Advanced skills in computer programs including: the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint & Outlook), Adobe Acrobat and Visio Professional
• Proven experience using SAP, INX, Inflight and data management systems
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, typing accuracy and customer service
• WA ‘C’ Class Drivers’ Licence
• National Police clearance is required

Key Duties:

• Execute goods release, work orders, service requisitions and service entries in SAP
• Assist with the distribution of site communications and information bulletins to ensure appropriate display through the business
• Assist and liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely responses to requests for information and assistance
• Generate and analyse daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Superintendent in a timely manner
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as instructed by leader to ensure positive communication of critical information and support management of key contractors
• Provide information to the Superintendent Village & Aerodrome to support the accurate and informed decision making on village management and aerodrome management
• Provide admin assistance in allocation of flights and accommodation for all site based employees, contractors and visitors
• Assist with the management of expenses, accommodation, travel bookings and any amendments in a timely manner (when required or rostered on)
• Coordinate with key stakeholders under the direction of Superintendent to deliver communication messages

The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.
